For the majority of paper types, keep the lever to the left for envelopes and T-shirt transfers, switch it to the right. Deep within the bowels of the output tray is a lever that changes the distance between the print head and the paper. A panel on the front folds down to serve as the output tray. The machine is so cheap for what it does that writing on and on about cons is a little overkill as at the end of the day you would feel like you get much out of this machine than what it cost your wallet. Canon's cartriges are very expensive and buying a few will be dearer than getting a entirely new printer. It's very compact and fits nicely into tight spaces.īlack and white printing quality was a slight disappointment as sometimes jagged lines are a little too obvious even with highest DPI printing. It has good connectivity with all your multimedia devices such as camera and can transfer files easily with a touch and spin of a button. Dirt cheap for a high quality machine with superb printing quality and photo printing although as expected, colour printing burns through the expensive cartriges which are very costly to replace.
